Report on Participation in Workshop on Listening Skills Bhavan’s Shri A. K. Doshi Mahila College, Jamnagar A group of 30 students from Bhavan’s Shri A. K. Doshi Mahila College, Jamnagar actively participated in a workshop on Listening Skills organized by Shri V. M. Mehta Arts College, Jamnagar on 18th and 19th July 2025. The two-day workshop aimed at enhancing students’ listening abilities, an essential component of effective communication and language proficiency. The sessions were designed to provide hands-on training, interactive activities, and practical exercises to help students develop better concentration, understanding, and interpretation of spoken messages. Our students attended the workshop with great enthusiasm and demonstrated active participation throughout. They engaged in group discussions, listening drills, and role-playing activities that tested their comprehension and reflexive listening. The resource persons of the workshop appreciated the sincerity and eagerness shown by our students. The workshop proved to be a fruitful learning experience, equipping students with strategies to improve their academic and professional communication. Dr. Darshita Dave, head, department of English of Shri V. M. Mehta Arts College extended special thanks to our college for encouraging participation in such skill-building initiatives.
